Australian scientists have developed a drug which may prevent kidney disease. It stops the spread of fibrosis which also underpins other killers including heart failure, diabetes, and lung and liver problems. Sufferers will take one tablet a day as opposed to eight hours of dialysis. Trials at the University of Melbourne have seen 100% success rate.
