Wanted to try this one a bit. Been fixed recently (headstock was broken, fixed PU circuit, added a Fralin Pickup in the centre position: the other two are original 50s PAFs. This has been bought many years ago for cheap).

Practicing on a backing track. Very good exercise. Many of you ask me at times what they should do to practice. This is something that I used to and still do a lot. Excellent way to practice.

I want to see your faces when you see me with a strato? .. :p
Been having this one for a long time. It's a 1958 body - refinished - with a 60s neck. It's the only stratocaster I've come to deeply love in the years, after owning probably 15.
Using as a backing track the "Slow Blues at the Club" by LPF forum member curt1lp.

If you thought I was gone forever... you were wrong!
Love ya,
Fil
PS
Sound is coming from Guitar Rig 3.1 (updated version). The sound patch is made by me, modifying the "HiWhite" patch that has a name similar to Pete Townshend.

Been a while! Here's random thing with a new camera.
This is part one. Uploading part two.
Note: Huh I thought it'd come out better. I shot this with a HD camera (High Definition) and the outcome here sucks balls. I might delete this clip and try again. No worries!

Heh. Got this new toy. It looked good!
It's a nice guitar. Not too expensive - if you consider how much vintage stuff costs now - and it sounds good enough. Naturally, the tone is influenced a lot by the amplifier.

I told you can never stop playing this one. For my 101st video, this is what I had in mind. Getting closer. With tone and performance. Can you hear it?

PLEASE NOTE: My version of the riff is wrong! Do not do it like I am on the video.
The Phrase, the riff phrase is SLID, NOT bent.
Just put a slide from F# to G# in the beginning part of the riff and you'll be accurate again.
Thank you all who suggested it was wrong!
