At the time I had made this video, I just got this acoustic. That's why it really sucks, lol. Acoustics are much tougher to play.
Setup-
-Yamaha FG700S acoustic
-Tuned to Eb

Whoa! Very sloppy on the opening chords...don't know what the hell I was playing, but I smoothed out after that.
Thanks for watching...same set up as always.

God this song is tough to play (especially the intro, that's why I kinda simplified it). This is probably the most difficult song I know, yet it's just a basic 1-4-5 blues. Hendrix makes it so difficult. I can't imagine the skill it takes to sing over this, as he did live.
I know I'm sloppy at parts, but I've worked HARD at this one.
Thanks for watching

I know this ain't too great and I can't express all of my feelings yet with guitar. But I hope you feel this.
As Stevie Ray Vaughan once said, "I think all guitarists feel it before they can play it."
Setup-

-Vox V847 wah...

I'm sloppy at some parts but whatever...just doing a quick first take. Not trying to be perfect. Main reason I'm doing these is so I can eventually look back in the future and see how much I improve.
Sound quality sucks still... :(

This is for my friend Jess, who requested the song. It's the only song she knows so I had to do it, hah.
This is a version somewhere in between the Berry and Hendrix version.
I've been learning this song for only about a week now, that's why it's raw. I'll re-do it sometime.
The solo's suck because they are improvised. I guess the first one isn't too bad though.

This was the recorded at The Record Plant sometime in summer 1970. You can hear a lot of "First Rays of the New Rising Sun" type riffs in here. Rough experimentation here it seems. I added a lot of rare pictures too. Enjoy.
