What I used to play maple story on a Macbook:
Windows Vista cd
Parrallel Desktop
512 mb of ram and
mac.
Its alittle slow but works on
mac. A little hard to use the keyboard on mac. You can even use ubuntu on pararllel!
This is the code to download for terminal on the winscp:
chown -hR mobile /var/mobile
if this does not work try using this:
chown -hR mobile /var/root
